Adopt-a-Palooza Set for Aug. 7 in Canfield

CANFIELD, Ohio – The Fourth Annual Adopt-a-Palooza will be held at High Octane Coffee Co., 410 W. Main St., Aug. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The free event, organized by High Octane, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC and Trailside Bicycle Co., will feature information on nine animal rescues in the Mahoning Valley, as well as opportunities to adopt pets from the shelters and pet-related vendors.

Members of the Mahoning County Sherriff’s Department K9 unit will do demonstrations throughout the day and several food trucks will be on site.

“This event has been incredible to host for four years now. It’s so rewarding to see it grow larger each year,” said Sweeney social media director Chris Anderson in a statement. “It’s also wonderful to partner with like-minded organizations such as High Octane Coffee and Trailside Bicycle to make that growth possible.”

Added Jennifer Roadway, co-owner of High Octane Coffee,  “Our company is very focused on the community and giving back. Our entire staff are animal lovers, so we’re more than excited for the opportunity to help local rescues again this year.”
