BBB to Host Free Document Shredding Event
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Better Business Bureau of Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull Counties and its shredding partner, Protect-N-Shred Document Destruction Services, invite the public to Secure Your ID Day.
The event will take place 9 a.m. to noon June 6 at the Covelli Centre. Businesses and consumers are invited to bring up to thee standard size boxes or bags of documents to be shredded. Documents should be removed from binders, but staples and paper clips are acceptable.
BBB staff will also be on-site to provide expert advice and tips for identity theft protection.
Secure Your ID Day is sponsored by Farmers Trust Company, Protect-N-Shred Document Destruction Services, Covelli Centre, WKBN Fox 17/62 and The Green Team. Youngstown State University student athletes will be available to assist consumers and businesses with boxes.
