Beatitude House Over the Edge Fundraiser Sept. 23-24

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – For the second year in a row, Beatitude House will partner with Over the Edge to send fundraisers down the side of the First National Bank Building in downtown Youngstown.

To rappel off the building, participants must raise at least $1,000. The fundraiser culminates with a two-day event September 23 and 24, which also features the Drop Zone Block Party.

Beatitude House will also sell 100 raffle tickets at $10 apiece for the Over the Edge Rappeller Sweepstakes to fill slots on the list of those going down the side of downtown’s tallest building.

More than 100 people dropped off the side of the building last year, raising more than $100,000 for Beatitude House, including Youngstown Mayor John McNally, Warren Mayor Doug Franklin and Youngstown State University President Jim Tressel.

For the fundraising achievement, Over the Edge presented the women and children’s outreach center with its Sky High Award.
