Button Accordion Festival Comes to Sharon this Weekend

SHARON, Pa. – Grab your accordion and dancing shoes, and head to the Apollo Maennerchor Club, 291 S. Dock St., for this weekend’s 11th National Button Accordion Festival.

Military veterans will be honored at 12:30 p.m. Memorial Day. The ceremony will be followed by an accordion concert.

Music genres will be showcased that guests can dance to, including polkas, waltzes, country, boogie woogie, Texas two-step, jitterbug, fox-trot and Latin beats. 

The diatonic button accordion and the piano accordion will be featured instruments at the festival.

Food will be available and served in the dining room. Festival t-shirts and CDs by performing artists will be available to purchase.

Admission is $10 on Friday and $12 on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend passes are $25, and children under 13 are admitted free.
