Chamber Offers John Maxwell’s ‘Laws of Leadership’ Series

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — A three-session “Laws of Leadership” series that focus on John C. Maxwell’s best-selling book 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership will be held June 22, July 27 and Aug. 24.

The series is sponsored by the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber in partnership with Greg Smith from Compco Industries.

Local leaders will focus on Maxwell’s laws and share personal stories that teach his principles. All sessions will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m.

Session dates and speakers:

  • June 22, Ciminero’s, Niles. Adam Newbold, U.S. Navy SEAL, CEO/director at ATG Worldwide and co-owner of Raptor Training Services; Jim Tressel, president of Youngstown State University; and Gina Pastella, vice president of operations at VEC.
  • July 27, Holiday Inn-Boardman. Bishop David Thomas, Victory Christian Center; Ed Muransky, chairman/CEO The Muransky Cos.; Senior Master Sgt. John Wood.
  • 24, Ciminero’s, Niles. Jill Avery, owner of Think High to Rise Consulting; Monica Craven, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Mahoning Valley; Bob Hannon, president of United Way of Youngstown and Mahoning Valley.
