Christmas Marketplace Dec. 4 at Tyler History Center

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – As part of its annual holiday celebration, the Mahoning Valley Historical Society will host a Christmas Marketplace Dec. 4 at the Tyler History Center in downtown Youngstown.

More than 30 artisans will be at the museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. selling their wares, ranging from baked goods to tree ornaments to furniture to jewelry. The society’s Young Leaders Advisory Board will also be selling hot lunches and the society’s education team will host an ornament-making workshop at 3 p.m. for both kids and adults.

A 50/50 drawing will also be held and several prizes will be raffled off. All proceeds will support education programs and exhibits at the Arms Family Museum and the Tyler History Center.

Admission to the Christmas Marketplace is $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and college students, and $2 for children. For an additional $3, visitors can get same-day admission to the Memories of Christmas Past exhibit at the Arms Museum.
