City Development Strategies to Be Unveiled Tuesday

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A plan that formulates economic development strategies for the city is set to be unveiled Sept. 22 at the Youngstown State Community Room in the Covelli Centre at 1 p.m.

The project is the result of a partnership between the city and Youngstown State University’s Center for Urban and Regional Studies.

One presentation will focus on major goals developed for the city based on its economy, competitive advantages, and best practices from other cities. The remaining presentations will consider corridor development opportunity sites and the Downtown Vision and Action plan.

The U.S. Economic Development Administration provided grant funding for the project.
