CityScape to Honor F.N.B, Asimakopoulos Feb. 26

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Youngstown CityScape will host a “Grass Roots Gala” recognizing First National Bank of Pennsylvania and Pete Asimakopoulos, its Youngstown market president, Feb. 26 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Center in Mill Creek MetroParks. A social will take place at 5:30 p.m. followed by the dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Since 2010, Youngstown CityScape has awarded the Sweet Grass Roots Award to an individual who has “made significant personal and professional commitment to the organization’s mission of revitalizing downtown Youngstown,” the group says.

Asimakopoulos, CityScape’s board president, and F.N.B. have been key champions of grass roots efforts to improve the visual appearance of downtown Youngstown through their contribution of volunteer time and financial support, says Sharon Letson, CityScape executive director.
Tickets for the event are $50 per person. To order, call Youngstown CityScape at 330 742 4040.
