Firebirds Wood Fired Grill Coming to Eastwood Mall

NILES, Ohio -- Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is set to open late this year at the Eastwood Mall complex here. The Charlotte, N.C.-based restaurant chain has some 21 locations across the country, including in Erie, Pa.

The first restaurant opened in Charlotte in 2000.

Firebirds offers a selection of steaks, chicken, seafood, pasta and burger dishes. Diners will enjoy the ambience of a Rocky Mountain lodge complete with a stone fireplace and the sight of meals prepared in an open kitchen over the grill, said Joe Bell, director of corporate communications at The Cafaro Co., Eastwood Mall owner/operator.

The Eastwood Mall Complex encompasses more than three million square feet of space, and has been recognized as the largest shopping center in America by the Directory of Major Malls.
