DeWine to Headline Chamber Luncheon

WARREN, Ohio — Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine will be the featured speaker Aug. 13 at the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber Government Affairs Council luncheon at Leo’s Ristorante.

DeWine is involved in many state and local issues, including attempts to legalize recreational use of marijuana in Ohio, the heroin epidemic, reactivating cold cases, mortgage fraud settlements to provide support for the housing market as well as blight remediation, the Regional Chamber noted in announcing his visit.

“The attorney general has been very active in the Valley,” said Guy Coviello, the chamber’s vice president of government affairs. “Mr. DeWine has been helpful in closing massage parlors in Warren and assisting Youngstown’s successful reduction in violent crime. We look forward to his update regarding ongoing issues.”

The luncheon begins at 11:15 a.m. and the program at noon. The cost is $20 for chamber members and $30 for prospective chamber members.
