The lineup includes Voices featuring Rudy Zetz, Janet Falotico and Sharon Grey (June 2), River Saints (June 16), Rockin’ the River benefit concert for Wounded Warriors of Pa. “Bring your chair and your dinner to go from one of the downtown eateries or from one of our food vendors at the concerts,” says Angie Urban, New Visions’ executive director, in a news release.

The events have been offered each summer since 2008 and, since 2014, the concerts have served as a fundraising vehicle for New Visions. This organization aims to increase the quality of life in our community by engaging volunteers to take action for positive change.

This year’s concert series is funded by Caroline Knox Memorial Trust Fund. The concerts are provided free to the public through partnerships with New Visions for Lawrence County, the Lawrence County Tourist Promotions Agency, Daystar Marketing, and the City of New Castle.
