Grohl Alley Event to Kick Off Warren Homecoming

WARREN, Ohio — Kent State University at Trumbull will host “Rendezvous in the Alley” Sept 23 to kick off the first-ever Warren Homecoming. The event will be held at David Grohl Alley in downtown Warren.

Warren Homecoming, which will be held at various locations between Sept. 23 and 26, is being organized by the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County. Participating organizations include Kent State University at Trumbull, Trumbull 100, Warren Area Board of Realtors, Diane Sauer Chevrolet, Rotary Club, John F. Kennedy High School, Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, Trumbull County Historical Society, Tribune Chronicle, All American Cards and Comics and Warren Gridiron Club.

Details of the event are in the planning stages, said Dr. Lance Grahn, dean at Kent Trumbull.

“Good things are happening in Warren, Trumbull County and on our campus,” he said. “It’s an honor for us to be at the front-end of this inaugural weekend as we welcome our friends, family and former residents.”
