Haus Auto Named Ohio’s Quality Dealer of the Year
CANFIELD, Ohio – Haus Auto Group has been named 2018 State Quality Dealer of the Year. The award was announced Nov. 4 at the Ohio Independent Auto Dealers Association Annual Awards Banquet.
“Some of the dealers who were nominated in the past were people I interned with and looked up to, so it’s a complete honor,” says Chris Haus, owner of the dealership, 4141 Boardman-Canfield Road.
There were more than 5,300 licensed dealers in Ohio who were eligible for the award. OIADA honors only one individual nominated by his peers with the annual award.
Haus will represent the association at the National Independent Auto Dealers Association Convention next June in Orlando, Fla. as he competes for the title of National Quality Dealer of the Year.
When asked why he believes his company received the state award, Haus replied, “It’s the consistency of giving a good product and customer service and the result is being able to do stuff for the community and the association.”
Haus, a Canfield native, and his dealership support the Canfield Lions Club, Canfield Historical Society, Eyes for Olivia, Mahoning County Special Olympics, numerous local food drives and other community programs.
Haus Auto Group was founded more than 40 years ago,. The independent used car dealership employs more than 25, operates an American Automobile Association certified 14-bay service facility and sells over 1,200 vehicles annually.
