Hollywood Gaming to Fill 50 Jobs for Racing Season

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course is looking to fill approximately 50 jobs as the 2015-16 live thoroughbred racing season approaches.

“The return of live racing ramps up the level of activity,” said Mike Galle, general manager of Hollywood Gaming. “We’re looking for great candidates to fill seasonal racing positions, and we’re still taking applications for other positions in our gaming operations.”

Positions available iinclude mutuel tellers, backstretch maintenance and security personnel, stall laborers, starters and clockers and general track crew personnel . The 100-date racing season begins Oct. 30 and runs through April 23.

In addition, Hollywood Gaming has openings in its gaming area for bartenders and barbacks, food and beverage personnel, security officers, valets, VLT attendants and Player Services representatives.
