CANFIELD, Ohio – Valley STEM+ME2 Academy is giving students in grades 9 and 10 a last chance to register for the upcoming school year.
The 7,500-square foot lab, housed at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, is dedicated to education in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. Only 100 spots are available in each grade.
The Valley STEM+ME2 Academy’s mission is to nurture the characteristics of discovery, invention, application, and entrepreneurship.
“We have received such a positive response from our current STEM students,” Mara Banfield, Valley STEM director said. “We have taken their input on how we can grow and improve and are looking forward to next school year.”
