Magazine Lists YSU STEM College as ‘Jobs Approved’

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Stem Jobs magazine has designated Youngstown State University’s College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Technology as a “2015 STEM Jobs Approved College.”

The designation, contained in a list compiled by the magazine, measures how effectively schools align their programs to high-demand, high-paying STEM jobs, and how well they assist students in achieving career aspirations in STEM fields.

YSU STEM and other schools on the list are featured in the Winter 2015 issue of the magazine (CLICK HERE).

“With the list of STEM Jobs Approved Colleges we’re able to help parents, students and guidance counselors evaluate how well education is translating into real-world jobs, and how responsive institutions are to meeting those demands,” said Daniel Nichols, president of STEM JobsSM. “We’re pleased to showcase schools like YSU as a school leading the way in this area.”
