VOLANT, Pa. — Join the hunt for hidden treasures from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday along Route 208 in the Amish Countryside of Lawrence County.
This second annual event is sponsored by Volant Mills and will be held in observance of National Yard Sale Day.
The continuous fifteen-mile stretch that includes the small towns of Volant, New Wilmington, Pulaski and New Bedford will give treasure hunters the chance to find the item they’ve been seeking. Route 208 begins at the Ohio state line and connects with Interstates 376 and 79.
The day gives residents, churches and businesses the opportunity to sell their treasures and for buyers to enjoy the countryside while finding great bargains.
Throughout the day Volant Mills will have a farmer’s market featuring homemade Amish donuts, baked goods, local produce, honey and more from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
