Austintown’s Growth Focus of Chamber Event Jan. 29

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber will hold its Good Morning, Austintown! breakfast Jan. 29 at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course in the township.

Speakers at the event, which will begin at 7:30 a.m. and run through 9 a.m., will include:

Austintown Township Trustee Jim Davis and Schools Superintendent Vince Colaluca, who will provide updates on what is going on in their respective arenas. 

Martin Solomon, president of B&I Management, which operates the Austintown Plaza, will talk about the businesses that have moved in to that area and what’s coming down the road, including Planet Fitness, as well as why the plaza, and Austintown in general, is a hot spot for retailers.

Tim Hilk, CEO of the YMCA of Youngstown, will give an overview of potential plans, pending funding, to build a branch of the YMCA in the township.

Michael Galle, vice president and general manager of Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, will recap its operations since its opening and detail what is ahead.
