Regional Chamber Cancels ‘No Labels’ Event

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber’s Government Affairs Council has cancelled its luncheon meeting scheduled for Thursday featuring David M. Walker, former U.S. comptroller general and co-founder of No Labels.

No Labels, co-chaired by Jon M. Huntsman Jr. and Joe Lieberman, is a national movement of Democrats, Republicans and independents “dedicated to a new politics of problem solving,” according to a chamber announcement. Its focus is on four strategic goals: Creating 25 million new jobs over the next 10 years; balancing the federal budget by 2030; securing Social Security and Medicare for another 75 years; and making America energy secure by 2024.

A notice on the chamber’s website suggested that any questions regarding the event be directed to Becky at 330- 744 2131, ext. 19.
