Sutliff Museum Holds Summer Open House July 1

WARREN, Ohio — In celebration of Independence Day, the Sutliff Museum is holding a summer open house from 1 to 4 p.m. July 1 featuring decorations that enhance the Sutliff family artifacts.

The open house coincides with the final weekend for “It Takes the Cake: Vintage Wedding Cake Toppers” in the museum’s community display case.

Lemonade and cookies will be served along with crafts for kids of all ages. Story time will take place at 2 p.m.

The museum is operated by The Warren Library Association on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library on Mahoning Avenue here. Admission is free. Hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The museum is a memorial to Levi and Phebe Sutliff, who were operators on the Underground Railroad in Trumbull County. For more information, call 330 395 6575 or visit this website.
