Tickets on Sale for TEDxYoungstown Jan. 22

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Tickets are now on sale for the third TEDxYoungstown set to take place Jan. 22 at Youngstown State University’s Ford Theater.

The lineup of speakers includes Pulitzer Prize winning photographer David Hume Kennerly as well as local educators and community leaders. Among them are Larry Moliterno, president/CEO of Meridian HealthCare and a Boardman Township trustee, and Patrick V. Kerrigan, former municipal court judge and the executive director of the Oak Hill Collaborative.

The theme for the independently organized event, licensed by TED, is “Movement,” says organizer Lori Shandor. It will be the third TED event organized here.

The 12 speakers at the 2016 event will explore subjects that range from artificial intelligence to addiction, and will present musical and art performance pieces. A full list of the speakers and biographies can be found at TedxYoungstown.com.
