UCFC Ranked 11th on Bank Director Scorecard

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Bank Director magazine ranks United Community Financial Corp., holding company of the Home Savings and Loan Company of Youngstown, 11th in this year’s performance scorecard of 130 financial institutions with between $1 billion and $5 billion in assets.

“Our high ranking on Bank Director’s performance scorecard is proof that our focused strategy is working,” said Gary Small, president and CEO in a prepared statement. “We are very pleased with the recognition and we will continue to build on the momentum of our success.”

Bank Director is a trade publication aimed at executive management and directors of financial institutions. Its scorecard is based on data from the year before including profitability, capital strength and credit quality.
