Vendors Needed for Chamber’s Business Showcase

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber is seeking businesses to participate in its Business Showcase Sept. 17 at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. The event, at which businesses can promote and demonstrate their services, has been held for more than 15 years.

The day begins with an OutreachBEAT for Networking Brunch from 10:15 a.m. to noon. Richard B. Obertots, CEO of ThinkThroughTools LLC, will explain how to avoid common networking mistakes and how to set your business apart from the competition. His program includes drumming, humor and fun.

The showcase is open to the public from noon to 4:30 p.m. The center stage, sponsored by Forty-Two Inc., will be available for product demonstrations. Lunch will be provided by Roxbury Pizza.

The private Showcase Business After Hours event begins at 5 p.m. A craft beer competition will pit local breweries in a head-to-head battle to be named the people’s choice in the Battle of the Breweries. Additionally, chamber member chefs will strive to create their best bacon dish in the “For the Love of Bacon” competition, with the signature ingredient provided by Catullo Prime Meats.

To take part in the event, registration and payment is required by tomorrow. Registration forms are available at the chamber website. For more information, call April Stanislaw at (330) 744-2131, Ext. 21.
