Vindys Kick Off July at Party on the Plaza

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Vindys will headline Party on the Plaza downtown Friday. The performance, with support from The Bees Trees, is among several the Youngstown-based band has booked throughout Ohio this month.

“We are beyond excited for this month of shows,” lead singer Jackie Popovec said. “The response to our full-length LP Keep Going has been incredible, and we’re so thankful for the opportunity to share this music with our fans throughout Ohio and beyond. We appreciate all the support we’ve received and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for The Vindys.”

The day after Friday’s concert, the band will play an intimate acoustic set at Hartford Hill Winery in Fowler. The following weekend The Vindys will return to Cleveland for a headline show at the Beachland Tavern on July 20 and will support national recording artists Drive-By Truckers at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on July 22.

The band will round out the month with two shows in Columbus: a headline show at Thirty One West in Newark on July 28 and supporting Yellow Light Maybe at Woodlands Tavern in Columbus on July 29.

In addition to Popovec on vocals and guitar, band members are John Anthony on guitar and vocals, Ed Davis on drums and vocals, and Scott Boyer on bass. Their new, full-length album, Keep Going, is available on iTunes, Amazon Music and Spotify.
