VXI to Add 260 Positions at Downtown Call Center
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – VXI Global Solutions LLC will hold a job fair Tuesday and Wednesday. The company wants to fill 260 positions starting April 6 for its Youngstown call center in 20 Federal Place downtown.
The job fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, with on-the-spot interviews and hiring, according to a news release announcing the event. VXI currently employs more than 1,000 at the call center here, which it has operated for more than five years.
“The positions will meet the needs of customers for a leading satellite TV provider as well as a leading money transfer provider,” said Pamela Hall, senior human resource manager for the company’s downtown Youngstown location.
“We will hire 260 by the end of April but the hiring will continue beyond that,” she added. “Hiring for the positions is underway now and we will be looking for our communities’ best and brightest to join our winning team.”
VXI is seeking applicants with at least six months of call center, customer service and/or sales experience, intermediate computer skills and the ability to work flexible shifts. Individuals can apply at the VXI call center at 20 W Federal St., Suite 150 or online (CLICK HERE).
