YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Premier Bank is backing the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley with a $10,000 donation to support key fundraising events throughout 2025.

“We are proud to support the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley as they work to promote accountability and provide food and emergency shelter to men, women and children experiencing hunger and homelessness,” said Trish Gelsomino, Foundation Giving coordinator at Premier Bank. “Together we can spread kindness and make the Mahoning Valley stronger.”

The funds will sponsor the Rescue Mission Dinner Benefit, the annual Point 5K and the Mahoning Valley Coffee Trail, all of which help sustain the rescue mission’s efforts to provide shelter, food and support services for those in need.

“We are grateful for support from our community partners like Premier Bank as we work to house, feed, counsel and educate hundreds each year through our residential programs, enabling them to get back on their feet and become productive again,” said Lynn Wyant, chief development officer for the rescue mission. “Because of the bank’s continued support, we are able to help people to improve their lives and, ultimately, our community.”
