YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Fourteen Williamson College of Business Administration students received Spring 2025 WCBA Senior Leadership Awards. The award is based on students’ academic performance, leadership activities and demonstrated commitment to their professional development.

The Lariccia School of Accounting & Finance recipients:

  • Kabir Abdullahi, an accounting major from Lagos, Nigeria, who has accepted an accounting position with Ernst & Young
  • Emily Basista, an accounting major from Struthers who will be pursuing an MBA degree
  • Michael Cicchillo, an accounting major from Youngstown, who plans to work at Novogradac & Company and obtain his MBA degree from YSU
  • Grace Economus, an accounting major from from Poland, who plans to join Packer Thomas as a full-time associate accountant and pursue an MBA degree
  • Dimetrius Harris, a financial management major from North Canton, who plans to pursue his MBA
  • Theodore Ovaska, an economics major from Youngstown, who plans to pursue his MBA

The Department of Marketing and Management recipients:

  • Lili Minich, a business administration major from Frankfurt, Germany, who plans to complete a sales internship with BNP Paribas in Asset Management
  • Elizabeth Saur, a business administration major from Grove City, Ohio, who plans to pursue an MBA
  • Caleb Sturgeon, a business administration major from Beloit, who plans to obtain an MBA degree
  • Nathaniel Lewins, a marketing major from Concord Township, Ohio, who plans to pursue an MBA degree
  • Kaylei Shaffer, a marketing major from Struthers

The Department of Communication recipients:

  • Teegan Graff, a communication major from Poland, who will be traveling in Spain
  • Teziah Howard, a journalism major from Baltimore, who will be pursuing an MA degree
  • Abigail Gutowski, a multimedia communication major from Summerfield, Ohio, who will complete a summer internship in Columbus

The Williamson College of Business Administration is dedicated to providing educational experiences and applied learning opportunities that prepare students for careers. In the spring and summer semesters, more than 340 students earned their undergraduate or graduate degrees in business, economics and communication.
