HERMITAGE, Pa. – The Greenville Area, Grove City, Shenango and Mercer chambers of commerce and Mercer County Future Leaders have selected 16 recipients for the Under 40 Distinguished Impact Awards.

The awards will be presented May 29 at Grove City College.

Recipients have demonstrated leadership, innovation and positive impact in their workplaces and communities.

The recipients are:

  • Hilary Walczak, director of college archives and galleries at Grove City College. 
  • Randall Burnett II, head cheer coach/adjunct professor at Thiel College.
  • Paige Stewart, marketing and recruitment specialist at St. Paul’s Senior Living Community.
  • Ryan Polichena, Sharon police officer.
  • Alexis Spence-Locke, development coordinator at Mercer County Food Bank.
  • Katie Nowland, director of environmental education at Buhl Park.
  • Jordan Batt, director of Baughman Family Center.
  • Justin Reynolds, district director of Hope Center Ministries.
  • Meagan Sutton, hospice director at Medi Hospice.
  • Greg Acre, elementary school principal at Mercer Area School District.
  • Reganne O’Brien, director of advancement/founder and executive director of Kennedy Catholic Family of Schools/Warrior in HER.
  • Andy Puleo, interim regional director of student affairs at Penn State Shenango.
  • Nicholas Hanahan, high school teacher at Farrell Area School District.
  • Leah Rouse, associate broker at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services The Preferred Realty.
  • Matt Smeltzer, group home supervisor at Diversified Family Services.
  • Bailey Shepard, strategic partnerships and programs manager at Mercer County Food Bank.
