WARREN, Ohio – Today is the final opportunity for organizations across the Mahoning Valley to be featured in The Business Journal’s 2026 Growth Report, with story submissions due by the end of the day.
The Growth Report is consistently the most-read publication produced by The Business Journal each year and serves as a yearlong reference for business leaders, investors, policymakers and community partners throughout the region. The annual report examines where the Valley has been and where it is headed, making it a key platform for organizations to share their outlook for the year ahead.
This year marks an important change. The Business Journal will publish only one Growth Report edition in 2026, scheduled for release Feb. 24. As a result, this is the only opportunity for organizations to be included in the report.
Organizations can participate in the Growth Report in two ways: by submitting a story or by reserving advertising space.
Story submissions are free and allow organizations to share their growth narrative by responding to guidelines provided by The Business Journal. Submissions focus on reflections from 2025, key successes, plans and strategies for 2026 and the organization’s impact on the community. Stories are limited to 500 words and will be edited for news style. Advertising or promotional language will be removed.
Story submissions are due today, Feb. 9, and should be emailed to growth@business-journal.com. Submissions can include a high-resolution photo with a caption. Story submission instructions are available HERE.
Organizations can also reserve advertising space in the Growth Report, which provides visibility alongside stories from economic and community development groups, nonprofits, educational institutions and professional organizations. The advertising deadline is Feb. 16. Rates are available HERE.
With the story submission deadline falling today, The Business Journal urges organizations to act quickly to ensure their perspectives and plans for the year ahead are represented in the 2026 Growth Report.
