Community Foundation Updates Logo, Website
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley this week unveiled its new logo, which the organization says features connected elements that emphasize the interconnectedness of the community it serves.
“Our new logo conveys the close relationships that unite those working for good across Mahoning and Trumbull counties,” said Shari Harrell, president of the Community Foundation, in a prepared statement. “It reflects the foundation’s goal to be a diligent and creative connector of people who care and causes that count.”
The logo was developed with Youngstown Design Works, an agency operated by Youngstown State University students.
898 Marketing, an agency based in Canfield, recently updated the foundation’s website and other materials to showcase the new mark.
“The logo conveys a link between Mahoning and Trumbull counties and their residents,” said Jeff Ryznar, owner and president of 898 Marketing. “The new brand represents the Community Foundation as a lantern lighting the way and enhancing the quality of our lives.”
The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley and its affiliates hold more than $56 million in assets and distributed more than $1 million in grants during its most recent fiscal year. It is the only local foundation with certification from the Community Foundation National Standards Board.
