YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Building A Better Belmont will host the fourth annual Bike Belmont on May 17 at Wick Park.
The family-friendly cycling event offers something for riders of all levels. Participants can choose a 5- or 12-mile police-escorted ride, while experienced cyclists can enjoy a 34-mile route from Wick Park to the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport and back.
The day will conclude with a celebration featuring food trucks, community tents and family-friendly activities at the park.
Last year’s event attracted 300 riders, including elected officials and residents from Liberty, Youngstown and neighboring communities. Local business owners contributed water, biking supplies, snacks and encouragement along the route. Organizers expect 500 riders to participate in this year’s event.
