AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Chapter of the American Advertising Federation is seeking nominations for its Silver Medal Award and High Five Awards. 

The Silver Medal Award is a lifetime achievement honor that recognizes professionals over age 40 from Summit, Stark, Portage, Wayne and Mahoning counties who have made outstanding contributions to the local advertising community. The award is the highest level of recognition given by AAF-Akron.

The High Five Awards recognize advertising and marketing professionals of any age from Summit, Stark, Portage, Wayne and Mahoning counties. Award categories include Most Valuable Peer, Account Services Award, MARCOMM Award, Production Award and Intern of the Year.

Nominations for all awards are due by Aug. 22. Nominators and nominees do not have to be members of AAF-Akron. 

The awards will be presented at AAF-Akron’s annual meeting Oct. 23 at The Knight Stage at the Akron Civic Theatre.
