SHARON, Pa. – The upcoming season at Acts Performing Arts Center will start with the Tony Award-winning musical “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” and also include a March production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
The theater at 40 Irvine Ave., downtown, will present six productions for the season.
Season passes are $112 and include a ticket to all shows. A main stage pass is also available for $80 that includes a ticket to the four theatrical productions.
A three-ticket flex pass is also available for $67.50; patrons can choose which three shows they attend.

The 2025-26 lineup is as follows:
- “ACTS Sings!” These musical revues will open and close the season. The first, titled “Our Bucket List,” will take place Sept. 26-28. It will feature powerful performers singing tunes they always wanted to sing. The second, “Comedy Tonight,” will take place June 5-7. It will spotlight hilarious showstoppers from Broadway musicals and movie classics.
- “The Mystery of Edwin Drood,” Oct. 10-12, 17-19. This Tony Award-winning musical whodunit by Rupert Holmes invites the audience to solve the mystery. Based on Charles Dickens’ final, unfinished novel, the show mixes Victorian melodrama with comedy as the cast invites the audience to vote on how the story ends. No two performances are the same.
- “A Christmas Carol,” Dec. 5-7, 12-14. Charles Dickens’ timeless tale of redemption that follows Ebenezer Scrooge on a transformative journey through Christmases past, present and future.
- “Jesus Christ Superstar,” March 14-15, 20-22, 27-29. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s iconic rock opera tells the story of the last week of Jesus’ life through a powerful modern lens.
- “Murder on the Orient Express,” May 8-10, 15-17. Adapted by Ken Ludwig from Agatha Christie’s classic novel, this stylish and suspenseful play follows detective Hercule Poirot as he investigates a murder aboard a snowbound train.
