NILES, Ohio – 7 17 Credit Union’s Financial Wellness Night at the Ballpark, scheduled for tonight, has been postponed.
The decision to reschedule the event was made because of poor air quality caused by smoke from wildfires in Canada.
The event, intended to promote financial wellness while providing a free evening of family entertainment, will now take place July 24 during the Mahoning Valley Scrappers’ game against the West Virginia Black Bears.
All original tickets for the sold-out event remain valid for the new date.
The Scrappers’ game tonight against the State College Spikes has not been canceled. Scrappers officials are working with the MLB Draft League and MLB to monitor air quality. Announcements regarding any changes to the status of the game will be communicated on the Scrappers’ website and Facebook page.
