AKRON, Ohio – Akron Children’s is expanding its reach in Stark County with the opening of a pediatric primary care location in Jackson Township.
Community Health Care has joined Akron Children’s primary care network, and the practice will be named Akron Children’s Pediatrics, Jackson.
The office, located at 7058 Fulton Drive NW, will open Oct. 21. It will have 24 primary care exam rooms and access to the hospital’s network of pediatric specialists.
“Opening our new … office is an exciting step forward in bringing care closer to home for families,” said Gia Polichena, Akron Children’s Pediatrics strategic planner. “This location makes it easier for current patients to schedule visits and continue care with the trusted providers they know, while also welcoming new families to experience the expert, compassionate care Akron Children’s is known for.”
The addition of the Jackson office brings the total number of Akron Children’s Pediatrics’ offices in Stark County to five. The others are in Alliance, Massillon, North Canton and Perry.
“By expanding into Jackson, we’re making pediatric care more convenient, accessible and connected so every child has the support they need to grow and thrive right in their own community,” Polichena said.
