SALEM, Ohio – Salem Regional Medical Center recently announced that Dr. Ali Kimyaghalam, a board-certified vascular surgeon, has joined its medical staff and is now seeing patients at his office at 400 Town Center Ave., Suite 301, Columbiana, in the SRMC Surgery and Outpatient Pavilion.
Kimyaghalam specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the blood vessels, including the arteries, veins and lymphatic system. His expertise includes advanced minimally invasive endovascular procedures to treat conditions such as stroke, diseases involving the veins and arteries, aneurysms and placement of dialysis catheters. Unlike traditional open surgery, endovascular procedures are performed through a small incision, using image-guided technology and specialized tools to treat the diseased area.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Kimyaghalam to our growing network of specialty providers,” said Dr. Anita Hackstedde, SRMC president and CEO. “His advanced vascular expertise enhances our ability to provide high-quality, comprehensive surgical care close to home for patients throughout the region.”
Kimyaghalam completed his medical degree and residency in general surgery, followed by his fellowship training in vascular surgery.
“I came to SRMC because my philosophy is to take care of my patients like they are family members,” Kimyaghalam said. “There is a strong sense of community here, and I have the opportunity to provide a high level of specialized, one-on-one care in a community setting.”
Kimyaghalam is accepting new patients by physician referral. For more information, call SRMC Vascular Surgery at 330 482 3871.
