WARREN, Ohio – The Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention will host its 2026 Recovery Rally and Walk at 11 a.m. Saturday at 7 17 Credit Union Field at Eastwood.

The free event will bring together resources, providers and community members for a day of celebration. Registration will be available at the gates.

The event will feature a resource fair, free Narcan kits, the Mobile Market offering vouchers for free food, basket raffles, games, a scavenger hunt and inflatables in the Kids Zone. Free lunch will be provided at noon, followed by an addiction memorial. The day will culminate with the Recovery Walk, scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

“The Recovery Rally is a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together. Not only do we gather to celebrate those who are in recovery, we also remember and honor the loved ones we’ve lost to addiction,” said Lauren Thorp, associate director of the Trumbull Mental Health and Recovery Board and ASAP project director.

ASAP is a project of the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board that engages strategic partnerships to solve the community’s substance abuse problems. Its members are health professionals, parents, educators, elected officials, merchants, business members, first responders, administrators, family and community members, people in recovery and students.
