Allie’s Sweet Tooth

Two years after opening Allie’s Sweet Tooth bakery in downtown Sharon, Pa., Allie Adams is taking the business to a bigger level.

She is preparing to launch her Allie’s Cookie Table line for national distribution.

The plan was announced in 2025 and will go into effect this year.

“In the nationwide distribution market, there’s a need for large-scale specialty cookies,” Adams says. “Because of our expertise in that area, we are expanding into production and distribution.”

She has purchased equipment and will expand her workforce from eight to 25. Her cookie factory will be in a building next to Quaker Steak and Lube, a few blocks from her bakery on East State Street.

“We have multiple pieces of equipment coming that will help set us up for automation of these specialty cookies,” Adams says. She created the specifications for the equipment so it will produce cookies that have their own look.

Adams will sell the cookies by the case to distributors but can also offer them prepackaged in smaller amounts with labels.

Her offerings will include the treats commonly found on cookie tables at wedding receptions in the region. She says it’s her way of sharing the flavors of the region to a national audience.

The lineup will include buckeyes, lady locks, peanut butter blossoms, Italian tea cookies, snowballs, jelly thumbprints, biscotti, sugar cookies, snickerdoodles and others.

Adams also sells her products at some independently owned coffee shops and stores.
