NILES, Ohio – Alta Head Start will host a Head Start and Early Head Start enrollment event from 1 to 5 p.m. June 27 at 7 17 Credit Union Field, home of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
The free event will feature fun for the whole family, including a picnic buffet, games, face painting, prizes and more. Families can also meet with Alta Head Start family advocates, learn more about Head Start’s services and register for the upcoming year.
Families registering for the upcoming year should bring proof of residency, proof of income and the enrolling child’s proof of birth.
“We’re excited to bring together our current and prospective Alta Head Start families for an afternoon of fun at the ballpark, while also sharing about the many services our Head Start and Early Head Start programs offer children and families throughout the Valley,” said Donna Shields, Alta Head Start director.
