YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Amazon dubbed a book penned by a Youngstown State University professor a Hot New Release.
“The Armed Jew: The Case for Jewish Gun Ownership” by Adam Fuller, associate professor of politics and international relations, is currently the No. 2 New Release in Jewish History and spent about two weeks in the No. 1 spot.
The book, which Fuller published June 25, addresses the role of gun ownership in the Jewish experience, both historically and in contemporary society. Drawing on a study of Jewish traditions, Fuller argues that Jews should embrace their right to own and carry firearms.
The book is also ranked as the No. 56 best-seller in Jewish Social Studies, No. 295 in Jewish History Books and No. 584 in U.S. Political Science.
