WARREN, Ohio – Manufacturers, workforce leaders and technology advocates gathered Wednesday at YBI’s Advanced Manufacturing User Expo to discuss the region’s growing role in additive manufacturing, aerospace and defense innovation.

Plus, precision machining and tool-and-die company Concept-4 has been acquired by Ashore Manufacturing, a new venture led by co-founders Zachary Woods and Chris Thompson, who marked the transition with a ribbon cutting Wednesday.

And the Western Reserve Port Authority Board of Directors approved a $6.98 million construction contract Wednesday for the YNG Aviation Education Center at Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport.
