Apostolakis Honda to Mark 40 Years in Business

CORTLAND, Ohio – Apostolakis Honda celebrates its 40th year in business at 11:30 a.m. next Wednesday at the site where it opened, 3156 Elm Road, as the exclusive Honda dealer in Trumbull County.

Gary Russo, zone sales manager from American Honda, will be present to congratulate the owner and president of the auto group, John Apostolakis.

“Business has grown beyond expectations,” Apostolakis said, president of the auto group. “The only things that have remained the same are the name on the building, our location and our jingle.”

The product line has expanded from the Civic, Accord and Prelude to more than 11 models including three gas/electric hybrids.

Four years after opening in Cortland, Apostolakis added Shenango Honda. On 2002, the group added Apostolakis Mazda.

Last year it earned Honda’s Council of Excellence Award a sixth time. For the first time, the dealership received the Honda Customer Experience Award and First Visit Award as well.
