Baird Brothers Featured on ‘Renovation Hunters’

CANFIELD – Grow was the word of the year for Canfield-based Baird Brothers Fine Hardwoods.

A new product – live-sawn white oak character grade flooring – was introduced to meet growing demand for wide plank flooring. This flooring uses one of the most sustainable ways to cut wood planks.

In keeping with its efforts to branch out into other media, Baird Brothers also introduced the Studio 3B Virtual Tour on its content studio. It gives visitors access to detailed product information, offers, videos and company history all while taking a virtual tour of the Studio 3B workshop.

“As a whole, 2022 was a year that set a pretty high standard for us,” says Steve Stack, director of new-business development. “Baird Brothers continued to evolve in such creative, amazing ways. Not only is our inventory and team growing, but the innovative outlets in which we are able to reach the public are, too.”

The company is preparing to participate in the 2023 International Builders Show in Las Vegas.

Last year, Baird Brothers became part of the team on the new Outdoor Channel show “Renovation Hunters,” which premieres Feb. 24. The company was visited by Chris Filardi, Hal Shaffer and Kevin Tarkovich of the show in October.

“Renovation Hunters” will air weekly at 8:30 p.m. Episodes can be watched on Sling, Hulu, Roku and Outdoor America.

Footage from the show’s visit to the Baird Brothers plant can be viewed at the company’s content studio at BairdBrothers.com.

The company hired 10 employees in 2022, including some third-generation family members and sales staff. Employment stands at 130, with three long-time team members retiring soon.

Baird Brothers Fine Hardwoods manufactures hardwood products, including lumber, mouldings and customizable flooring, doors, stair parts, S4S lumber, plywood, mouldings and more.
