BERLIN CENTER, Ohio – Ashore Manufacturing Group will celebrate the official launch of its operations at 13940 W. Akron-Canfield Road.
A ribbon cutting will be held from 2-5 p.m. May 20 at its facility. Food and drinks will be provided for attendees.
Ashore Manufacturing recently completed its acquisition of the former Concept-4 facility, a precision machining and tool-and-die business that has served the Mahoning Valley for more than 20 years. Ashore retained the entire Concept-4 workforce and is continuing operations without interruption while beginning new investments in equipment, certifications and workforce development.
“This isn’t a reset,” said Zachary Woods, Ashore co-founder and co-CEO. “It’s the next chapter for a shop that has served customers in this region for over two decades.”
Operating from a 9,600-square-foot facility on a 6-acre campus, Ashore provides precision machining and tool-and-die manufacturing services to customers across automotive, industrial, defense and government sectors. Capabilities include CNC milling, wire EDM, die builds, repair work and custom precision parts manufacturing.
The company’s near-term goals include modernizing the facility with new equipment and automation while preserving the craftsmanship and trade knowledge that have defined the operation.
“The Mahoning Valley built this country’s industrial backbone, and it’s time to bring this area back to the forefront to once again lead the charge in American manufacturing,” Woods said. “The name says it all. We are bringing manufacturing jobs back ashore to the United States and back to this Valley.”
