SMARTS is a community-based art school, helping to bridge the gap during and after school with arts curriculum that is unmatched in the region – a place where culture, design, and self-discovery are uniquely intertwined.

At SMARTS, applications for classes are accepted year-round, and K – 12 students throughout the Valley are exposed to various arts programming – visual arts, music, dance, theater, and creative writing – in a time when opportunity in those areas might otherwise be eliminated.

The SMARTS impact: School-aged children who flourish, and communities that thrive. Students engaged in the arts are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement and twice as likely to graduate college.
