BOARDMAN, Ohio – The Boardman Civic Association is marking 75 years of fostering growth, community pride and development in the township.

Since its inception in 1950, the BCA has supported positive initiatives to enhance the township and its community members. 

In addition to hosting public forums that address critical issues and topics that affect the community, the BCA is also dedicated to recognizing significant achievements within the township, including the acknowledgment of business accomplishments, scholastic success and individual contributions.

As part of its mission, the BCA encourages opportunities for fellowship and communication

among business and civic leaders, building relationships that strengthen the community.

The BCA recently released its calendar of upcoming events to provide further engagement opportunities for community members. All residents, business owners and civic leaders are invited to participate in the following events:

  • Spring Mixer: March 20.
  • Academic Achievement Scholarship Awards Dinner: May 5.
  • General Election Forum: Sept. 15.
  • Community Awards Dinner: Oct. 20.

BCA’s officers for 2025 are Makenna Ozenghar, president; Meg Harris, vice president; Mark Luke, secretary; and Mark Hadley, treasurer.
