Beatitude House Names Battaglia Child Wellness Coordinator

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Beatitude House has hired Jennifer Battaglia to fulfill the newly created position of child wellness coordinator.

In her role, Battaglia will address the trauma many children have endured before coming to Beatitude House. She is responsible for planning, monitoring and developing programs with Beatitude House children.

“By providing a dedicated program for our children’s growth and well-being, we will be able to have a positive, lasting impact on their lives,” says Keshia Bales, associate director of Beatitude House

Battaglia has volunteered with Beatitude House since 2012. She earned a B.S. degree in early childhood education from Youngstown State University.

“I’ve worked in public and charter schools in underfunded districts and have been able to see where the gaps are in providing support for children and their families,” says Battaglia. “Beatitude House is committed to providing services to navigate all facets of life and helping to bridge those gaps.”
