WARREN, Ohio – Ben Folds, the influential piano-playing pop singer-songwriter, will come to the Robins Theatre on Sunday, April 13.

Tickets range from $88 to $43 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at RobinsTheatre.com and the theater box office, 160 E. Market St. A presale for members of Friends of the Robins Theatre will start at 10 a.m. 

Folds’ body of genre-bending music includes pop albums with Ben Folds Five and multiple solo and collaborative records. 

His most recent pop album, “What Matters Most,” was released in 2023 and followed by a holiday album “Sleigher,” released this year.

Folds recently recorded a live album with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center that will be released next year. 

Folds serves as an artistic adviser to the NSO, curating an ongoing concert series called “Declassified: Ben Folds Presents,” which pairs contemporary artists from all genres of music with the orchestra.

An author and former podcast host, Folds is also working on new compositions for film, television and theater. 

In 2022, Folds launched Keys for Kids, a music education charitable initiative in his native North Carolina. The program provides funds and keyboards to nonprofits that offer free or affordable piano lessons to children from disadvantaged households.
