WARREN, Ohio – Berk Enterprises will host its second annual Lemonade Day fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 12 outside its headquarters at 1554 Thomas Road SE.
The community is invited to attend, and all ages are welcome for an afternoon of fun, fundraising and family-friendly activities.
Lemonade Day is a national fundraising initiative organized by Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to support the fight against childhood cancer. This event builds on the ongoing partnership between Berk Enterprises and the foundation, first announced at the end of 2024. The partnership includes a variety of efforts to raise awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research and support programs.
Berk Enterprises has set a fundraising goal of $10,000 for this year’s event.
The event will feature freshly squeezed, fair-style lemonade served in a special co-branded cup in collaboration with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. The suggested donation is $3 per lemonade, with all proceeds directly supporting the foundation. The event will also include music, face painting, cornhole, basket raffles, food from Molnar’s Concessions and more.
Berk Enterprises partnered with Youngstown Clothing Co. to create custom event T-shirts in support of the fundraiser. The shirts cost $34 and can be purchased at the event and Youngstown Clothing stores, while supplies last.
