YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A nonprofit organization that helps veterans, single parents and domestic violence survivors will host a community event next month.
Bess Purpose Inc.’s community fun day runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 16 at 2302 McGuffey Road.
The event will include school supply giveaways, free food and other refreshments, music, prizes, games and activities.
According to the organization’s website, Bess Purpose was created to inspire empowerment, foster resilience and instill hope in the lives of those it serves. Its mission is to provide comprehensive resources and wraparound services that uplift individuals and families as they work to achieve stability and success.
